Job summary

Hitachi Energy is seeking a Field Service Engineer to perform on-site commissioning, installation, and testing of high voltage equipment. You will identify and resolve complex start-up issues and coordinate with project teams to meet customer requirements.

The ideal candidate holds a degree in Electrical Engineering and has 6-10 years of HV experience with proficiency in English and Arabic, ready to operate in Saudi Arabia across site activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
• 6-10 years of experience in high voltage products, electrical equipment, switchgears, and HV switchgear protection and control.
• Proficiency in both spoken and written English and Arabic language.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site commissioning, installation, testing, and troubleshooting of HV equipment.
• Coordinate with tools management and ensure proper use of test equipment.
• Lead contractors and coordinate with customer and back-office for resources.
• Prepare site reports, plans, and statements of method.
• Ensure compliance with PM requirements and safety standards.
• Submit weekly and monthly time sheets and travel authorisation.
