Job summary

Hitachi Energy Ltd. is seeking a Field Service Engineer in Dammam, Saudi Arabia who will provide technical support for commissioning, installation, and testing of HV products and equipment.

The role requires identifying complex problems at start-up and recommending product upgrades to meet customer needs. The candidate will participate in site activities, coordinate with the tools management department, and ensure proper use of test equipment for HV installations, testing, and commissioning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
• 6-10 years of experience in high voltage products, electrical equipment, switchgears, and HV switchgear protection and control.
• Proficiency in both spoken and written English and Arabic language is required.

Responsibilities

• Active site participation for installation, testing, commissioning and troubleshooting of HV equipment.
• Coordinate with tools management and ensure proper use of test equipment for HV products.
• Lead on-site activities, prepare site reports and maintain PM compliance where required.
• Follow safety rules, uphold Hitachi Energy values and coordinate with project teams as needed.
