Job summary

HITACHI ENERGY LTD. seeks a Field Service Engineer based in Dammam, Saudi Arabia, to provide technical field services for high voltage equipment including GIS, GCB, LTB, and DTB.

The role involves installation, commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting on customer sites with close coordination to project teams. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s or Diploma in Electrical Engineering with 6–10 years of HV experience and fluency in English and Arabic, both written and spoken.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
• 6–10 years of experience in HV products, electrical equipment, switchgears, and HV protection & control.
• Proficiency in English and Arabic (spoken and written) required.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site field service engineering support including installation, commissioning, testing and troubleshooting of HV equipment (GIS, GCB, LTB, DTB).
• Collaborate with project teams, coordinate with tools management, and manage test equipment and site activities.
• Prepare site reports, plans, and statements; ensure PM/compliance requirements are met; lead subcontractors when required.
