Job summary

AECOM is seeking an experienced HSE Manager to lead infrastructure safety programs in Riyadh. The role focuses on developing, implementing, and maintaining HSE systems, ensuring regulatory compliance, and guiding project teams across major infrastructure activities.

Ideal candidates have 12+ years in HSE with 3–5 years in leadership, strong incident investigation skills, and experience in large-scale projects such as rail or transportation infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related discipline.
• NEBOSH IGC is highly relevant to this role.
• NEBOSH Diploma preferred for advanced practice.
• IOSH Managing Safely and CSP or equivalent provide additional value.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain project HSE programs, procedures, systems, and controls.
• Monitor construction activities for compliance with environmental, safety, and health requirements.
• Provide HSE guidance to leadership, engineers, contractors, and site personnel.
• Identify hazards and establish preventive measures to reduce injuries and environmental risk.
• Conduct inspections, safety reviews, and risk assessments across active work areas.
• Investigate accidents, injuries, near misses and root causes; implement corrective actions.
