Job summary

AECOM is seeking a senior Environmental Health and Safety Manager for Riyadh, Saudi Arabia to lead ES&H programs across major transportation and infrastructure projects. The role emphasizes regulatory compliance, hazard control, incident investigation, and emergency preparedness to protect personnel and ensure safe project delivery.

The successful candidate will provide technical leadership, develop robust ES&H systems, and collaborate with engineering, construction, and operations teams

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety & Health, Engineering, or related field.
• Certifications: CSP and/or CIH recommended; master’s degree advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, maintain, and continually improve ES&H programs and procedures.
• Monitor project activities for ES&H compliance with regulatory obligations and standards.
• Provide technical interpretation of government requirements to project teams.
• Identify hazards and evaluate associated risks to implement controls.
• Investigate incidents and perform root cause analysis; implement corrective actions.
• Lead or coordinate ES&H specialists and ensure documentation across projects.
