This senior engineering position is responsible for strengthening health and safety controls across projects, worksites, and operational activities. The engineer will evaluate workplace hazards, improve preventive measures, investigate incidents, and ensure that safety requirements are incorporated into planning and execution. The role has a direct impact on workforce protection, legal compliance, project continuity, and organizational performance. By using safety data, field observations, and structured investigations, the engineer will help reduce incidents and promote consistent accountability across multidisciplinary teams.
The successful candidate will have at least 15 years of professional experience in health and safety engineering, occupational risk management, construction safety, industrial safety, or a closely related field. Applicants must demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of Saudi Arabian occupational safety requirements, OSHA standards, ISO 45001, risk assessment, incident investigation, corrective action management, and safety management systems. Experience within construction, infrastructure, manufacturing, consultancy, or industrial environments is strongly preferred. Candidates should also be confident interpreting safety data, preparing professional reports, delivering training, and advising multidisciplinary teams. Professional credentials such as Certified Safety Professional, Certified Industrial Hygienist, NEBOSH, or an equivalent qualification would strengthen an application. Familiarity with ergonomics, workplace exposure controls, personal protective equipment, and digital safety reporting tools is also beneficial.
