Job summary

Power International Holding (PIH) in Saudi Arabia is seeking an Electrical Technical Engineer to provide technical support across projects, including design, installation, testing and commissioning of electrical systems. The role collaborates with engineering teams, project management, construction, vendors and consultants to ensure safety, compliance and reliable performance.

Qualifications

Must have strong knowledge of construction field practices and electrical systems.
Knowledge of NFPA standards and local electrical regulations.
UPDA certification or equivalent attestation is required.
ERP knowledge with SAP functional skills is preferred.

Responsibilities

Coordinate with MEP coordinators and main contractor technical teams.
Ensure shop drawings follow design drawings, specs and coordination with other disciplines.
Maintain submission schedules and ensure best quality of drawings and documents.
Ensure compliance with local authorities (KM, QCDD, Ooredoo, Health and Safety) and QCS2014 standards.
Adhere to the company policies and procedures throughout the project.
Support client, consultant and MEP project manager in achieving satisfaction and milestones.
Guide engineers and draftsmen through the work activities and assign targets.
Review and approve electrical shop drawings and design calculations prior to submission.
Review and approve electrical material submittals and method statements for correctness.
