Job summary

Penspen is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to be based in Khafji, The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, reporting into the Core Engineering or PMT teams. The role involves leading electrical personnel, delegating tasks, and ensuring safe, compliant project delivery across engineering, construction and commissioning phases under supervision of a Lead Electrical Engineer.

Extensive experience in major Oil & Gas/Petrochemical projects and PMC environments is required; familiarity with Saudi Aramco

Qualifications

• At least 12 years of experience in major Oil & Gas/Petrochemical projects.
• PMC experience in similar roles is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage electrical personnel, delegating activities as required.
• Operate within Core Engineering or PMT project teams in Khafji.
• Supervise project delivery under supervision of Lead Electrical Engineer.

Job description

We are looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer to work in The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The Senior Electrical Engineer may operate within the Core Engineering Team or PMT project team environment. He may have engineer grade Electrical personnel under his responsibility and will be tasked with their control and management and the delegation of activities to such support personnel. He may work under the supervision of a Lead Electrical Engineer in which case his responsibilities will be as delegated. The Senior Electrical Engineer may be in charge of any or all of the following tasks. The position is to be based in Khafji, Saudi Arabia.

Knowledge / Experience (Skills)

• At least twelve (12) years of experience; Eight (8) years of them within the field of Engineering for major Oil and Gas/Petrochemical projects.
• PMC experience at similar role for at least several years is preferable.
• Knowledge of Saudi Aramco Desktop Standard and procedures/practices is beneficial
• Computer literate with all MS Packages, particularly Word and Excel proficient.
• Previous exposure to construction and commissioning phases is beneficial but not mandatory.
