Job summary

Power International Holding (PIH) in Saudi Arabia seeks an experienced MEP Engineer to design mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems for large-scale buildings. You will prepare CAD drawings and specifications, coordinate with architects and structural engineers, and select equipment considering efficiency and cost.

The role requires knowledge of local regulations and experience with testing, commissioning, and documentation.

Qualifications

• Knowledge in MEP materials and site activities
• Coordination and administration of MEP materials, systems and shop drawings submittals
• Knowledge of local authority regulations, applicable standards and local market
• Knowledge of assist in the testing and commissioning of MEP equipment
• Expert in MS Office 2010 (Word/Excel)
• ERP knowledge preferably SAP functional skills are a requirement to be successful in this role

Responsibilities

• Design MEP systems for buildings including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing.
• Prepare technical drawings, schematics, and specifications using CAD.
• Coordinate MEP designs with architects and structural engineers.
• Select equipment and materials considering efficiency, cost, and sustainability.
• Design with energy efficiency and renewable technologies.
• Provide technical support during construction, review shop drawings, and conduct site inspections.
• Manage testing, balancing, and commissioning of MEP systems before occupancy.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations and industry standards.
• Maintain documentation of designs, calculations, specifications and project correspondence.
• Communicate with clients, contractors and stakeholders to address needs and concerns.
