Job summary

AtkinsRéalis in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, seeks a highly experienced Lead Field Engineer - Electrical to oversee all electrical site supervision for a major development project. You will ensure installations, testing, commissioning, and handover meet approved designs, project specs, safety standards, and contractual obligations, coordinating with the Resident Engineer, MEP teams, and contractors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from a recognized university.
• Master’s degree in electrical engineering or project management is preferred.
• Professional engineer/chartered engineer or PMP certification desirable.
• Minimum 12+ years in electrical engineering and construction supervision; 7+ years in lead electrical supervision on major projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise all electrical site engineering and inspection activities throughout project execution.
• Review and monitor electrical construction works for compliance with drawings, specs, codes and project requirements.
• Coordinate electrical engineers, inspectors and specialist consultants.
• Review and approve electrical shop drawings, submittals, method statements and technical submissions.
• Monitor installation of electrical systems including distribution, substations, transformers, switchgear, lighting and ELV systems.
• Witness FAT/SAT and commissioning activities and ensure QA/QC compliance.
• Support progress measurement, payment certification and project reporting.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations and international electrical standards.
