Job summary

Parsons Corporation in Tabuk, Saudi Arabia is seeking a Construction Engineer – Dewatering to lead groundwater control and dewatering systems for a giga-project. The role encompasses deep excavations, foundations, marine works, and coordination with geotechnical and environmental teams.

You will review designs, supervise installations, analyze monitoring data, and ensure safe, dry ground conditions while maintaining QA/QC and safety standards on site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or closely related field with strong hydrogeology exposure.
• Minimum 10 years of progressive civil construction experience, including large dewatering operations.
• Experience with groundwater modeling, drawdown assessments, and pump design.
• Strong English communication and report-writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise installation, testing, and operation of deep wells and dewatering systems.
• Ensure excavation stability by achieving required groundwater drawdown before activities.
• Review calculations, method statements, and monitoring plans for dewatering submissions.
• Assess hydrogeological data, pumping tests, and drawdown models to guide construction.
• Coordinate dewatering with excavation, piling, and foundation teams on site.
• Maintain detailed inspection records and daily progress reports for the Construction Manager.
