Job summary

Parsons is seeking a seasoned Quantity Surveyor for wastewater works in Tabuk, Saudi Arabia. You will lead site measurements, quantity take-offs, and contractor payment reviews within active infrastructure packages.

Your role involves validating quantities, assessing variations, and supporting final account close-out. Proficiency in AutoCAD and Excel, along with strong English communication, is essential for on-site collaboration with engineers and contractors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or related field.
• 7+ years of direct construction QS experience.
• Experience with wastewater networks or wet utility projects preferred.
• MRICS/AIQS accreditation is advantageous.
• Strong measurement, valuation, and payment certification knowledge.
• Familiarity with CESMM4, POMI, or similar methods.
• FIDIC contract administration knowledge.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Carry out detailed site measurements for wastewater and utility works.
• Prepare quantity take-offs from design drawings and field data.
• Verify contractor quantities against progress and payments.
• Review interim payment certificates and variations.
• Prepare evidence-based recommendations for disputes and adjustments.
• Apply standard measurement methods (CESMM4/POMI) and FIDIC terms.
• Maintain commercial records and progress cost reporting.
• Liaise with Resident Engineers and discipline engineers.
