Job summary

WSP in the Middle East is seeking a Senior Cost Control Engineer in Riyadh to lead cost management for roads, tunnels, highways, and bridges. The candidate will oversee budgeting, forecasting, and cost control within a consulting environment and mentor junior staff.

Requires 15+ years in cost control and project management for infrastructure, with strong English communication and PM software proficiency. Saudi work location with competitive benefits is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field; advanced degree or certifications (PMP, CCE) a plus.
• Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in cost control and project management for infrastructure.
• Proven track record on large-scale infrastructure projects; Middle East experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of cost estimation, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Experience in site supervision/consulting environment; proficient with Primavera, MS Project.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of project cost management, including budget estimation and forecasting.
• Develop comprehensive project budgets based on scope and requirements.
• Implement robust cost control mechanisms to monitor expenditures and variances.
• Prepare financial reports, cost analysis, and variance reports for stakeholders.
• Review contracts, change orders, and documents to ensure alignment with cost objectives.
• Identify risks and cost implications; develop mitigation strategies.
