Job summary

WSP in the Middle East is seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in construction supervision of infrastructure projects such as roads, bridges, highways, and tunnels. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in delivering major transportation projects within the construction consultancy sector in Saudi Arabia or the Gulf region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field is required; Master’s preferred.
• Proven experience in supervising major infrastructure projects with strong leadership and client-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the construction supervision team for major infrastructure projects including roads, bridges, highways, and tunnels.
• Manage day-to-day project operations, ensuring compliance with contract documents, specifications, quality standards, and local regulations.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, subconsultants, and government authorities to resolve technical and contractual issues.
• Prepare and manage project schedules, monitor progress, and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Oversee QA/QC and HSE on-site.
• Review and approve project documentation such as method statements, shop drawings, RFIs, and submittals.
• Monitor contractor performance, track delays or variations, and support change orders and claims.
• Lead progress meetings, provide regular reporting to senior management and the client.
• Ensure milestones and deliverables are met within budget and on schedule.
