Job summary

WSP in the Middle East is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer in Riyadh with 15+ years of experience in structural engineering and site supervision for complex transportation projects. You will lead design, analysis, and construction supervision to ensure safety, durability, and performance of bridges, tunnels, viaducts, and retaining walls.

The role requires strong project management and communication skills, with proficiency in SAP2000/ETABS/STAAD.Pro and CAD tools.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering; Master's degree preferred.
Minimum 15 years of structural engineering experience with site supervision.
Professional engineering license or equivalent certification preferred.
Strong knowledge of transportation infrastructure structures; proficiency in major analysis software.

Responsibilities

Lead structural design and analysis of transportation infrastructure projects (bridges, tunnels, viaducts, retaining walls) per client requirements and standards.
Provide construction supervision and quality assurance with regular site inspections and compliance monitoring.
Identify opportunities for value engineering and innovative design to optimize cost and performance.
Identify, assess and mitigate structural risks, ensuring safety, quality and regulatory compliance.
