Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, Supply Chain, Economics, or related discipline; postgraduate advantage.
• 10–15 years in retail commercial roles with at least 4 years leading category management or buying.
• Proven record in convenience/forecourt/grocery/food service with P&L accountability.
• Negotiating trading terms and supplier income with national suppliers and distributors.
• Experience with range architecture, store clustering, space management, and planogram governance.
• Saudi market experience and understanding of direct store delivery preferred.
• Transformation or turnaround experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement commercial strategy and category planning.
• Perform categorization, range architecture, and assortment selection.
• Lead store clustering, formats, and space management.
• Negotiate with suppliers and manage trading terms.
• Monitor pricing, margins, and supplier income.
• Drive promotions and supplier-funded activity.
• Develop Fresh/F&B and food service initiatives.
• Oversee product availability, supply chain, and inventory performance.
• Lead performance analytics and reporting.
• Provide collaborative leadership across functions.
