Job summary

GRG is seeking a Category Head in Saudi Arabia to drive category strategy, buying and merchandising planning across multiple retail categories. You will own revenue, margin and inventory performance with direct accountability to senior executives.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in category management or related fields.
• Experience with principal-led retail, brand-owner or large omnichannel operations.
• Strong commercial and analytical skills including P&L, budgets and stock turn.

A leading retail group in Saudi Arabia is hiring a Category Head to report directly to senior executive management.

You'll drive category strategy, buying and merchandise planning across a portfolio of retail categories, with full accountability for revenue, margin and inventory performance.

Key responsibilities:

• Category strategy, budgets and commercial plans tied to the company's growth agenda
• Assortment, pricing, promotions and stock management
• Revenue, gross margin and inventory productivity targets
• Vendor and supplier negotiations and relationships
• Leadership of the category, buying and planning team

What we're looking for:

• 10+ years in category management, buying or merchandise planning, with real leadership scope
• Must have Principal-led retail, brand-owner or large omnichannel experience
• Strong commercial and analytical skills (P&L, budgets, stock turn, working capital)
• Proven track record growing revenue and margin while improving inventory productivity
• Background in lifestyle retail categories (apparel, accessories, leather goods, watches, luggage, toys, homeware, gifting or adjacent lifestyle categories)
• GCC retail experience preferred, especially Saudi Arabia or the UAE
