Qualifications

• 5–7 years of experience in Commercial, Category Management, Buying, Merchandising, or Procurement in Home Care, Household, Hardware, General Merchandise, Retail or FMCG.
• Strong knowledge of category planning, pricing, promotions, sourcing, supplier management, assortment development, and commercial negotiations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute commercial plans for Home Care, Household, Hardware and related general merchandise categories.
• Set category priorities aligned with sales, gross margin, profitability, customer value, and market-share objectives.
• Manage assortment planning and range reviews to reflect customer needs and market trends.
• Develop pricing strategies that support competitiveness while protecting margins.
• Plan promotional calendars and seasonal campaigns with supplier participation.
• Lead negotiations with local and international suppliers on pricing, trading agreements, rebates, and promotional funding.
• Build joint business plans with strategic suppliers and measurable objectives.
• Identify new suppliers, brands, products, and sourcing opportunities to strengthen category relevance.
• Monitor sales, gross margin, stock availability, inventory turnover and category performance.
