Job summary

Reporting to the Technical Director, you will ensure design quality, buildability, regulatory compliance, and integration between architectural, structural, MEP, and specialists, while managing design consultants and aligning design intent with cost and schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or related field.
• 10–15 years of experience in architecture and coordination.
• Experience with high-rise, hotels, and mixed-use projects.
• Strong knowledge of Revit.
• Experience coordinating between Architecture, Structural, MEP, and other disciplines.
• Immediate or short-notice availability preferred.

We are currently looking for an experienced Senior Architect / Technical Coordination Manager to join a leading real estate development organization in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Role Overview

The Senior Architect / Technical Coordination Manager will be responsible for leading architectural design reviews and multidisciplinary technical coordination across major real estate development projects.

Reporting to the Technical Director, the role will ensure design quality, buildability, regulatory compliance, and effective integration between architectural, structural, MEP, and specialist disciplines.

The position will also play a key role in managing design consultants and ensuring alignment between the original design intent and project delivery, cost, schedule, and construction requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead architectural design reviews throughout all project stages, ensuring alignment with the project vision, design standards, technical requirements, and applicable regulations.
• Manage multidisciplinary coordination between Architecture, Structural, MEP, and specialist disciplines to achieve fully integrated and coordinated design solutions.
• Act as a key interface with external design consultants, monitoring the quality and timely delivery of drawings, specifications, and technical submissions.
• Ensure designs comply with applicable Saudi building regulations, codes, project specifications, and international best practices.
• Review designs from a constructability perspective and identify potential technical risks, coordination issues, and delivery challenges.
• Identify and support Value Engineering opportunities while protecting the project's design intent and required quality standards.
• Lead the resolution of design-related issues, RFIs, technical queries, and multidisciplinary coordination conflicts.
• Review drawings, specifications, design packages, and technical submissions for accuracy, completeness, and coordination.
• Work closely with Project Delivery, Commercial, Construction, and PMO teams to ensure design decisions support project cost, schedule, procurement, and construction strategies.
• Monitor consultant performance and ensure deliverables meet agreed project requirements, timelines, and quality standards.
• Minimize design-related clashes, risks, variations, and potential project delays.
• Maintain alignment between architectural design intent and practical execution throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a related field.

10–15 years of relevant experience in architecture, design, and technical coordination.

Strong experience in high-rise buildings, hotels, and mixed-use developments.

Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Revit.

Experience coordinating architectural designs with Structural, MEP, and other technical disciplines.

Experience managing design consultants and reviewing technical deliverables.

Strong understanding of design development, constructability, and project delivery.

Immediate or short-notice availability is highly preferred.
