Role Context The Architect will provide technical and design leadership across the building project lifecycle, translating architectural concepts into coordinated, compliant, and constructible solutions. The position requires close control of interfaces between architecture, structure, MEP systems, fire safety, accessibility, and landscape design. Through disciplined design management and direct engagement with Saudi authorities, the role will help secure approvals, reduce design conflicts, control technical risk, and maintain continuity between design intent and completed construction.
Candidates should hold a bachelor 's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution and possess at least 10 years of professional experience covering architectural design and building project management. Extensive working knowledge of Saudi Arabian building codes, regulations, municipal procedures, and authority approval processes is essential. Previous experience delivering building projects in Riyadh or another major Saudi Arabian city is particularly important. Candidates should demonstrate advanced capability with architectural design software and Building Information Modeling tools, together with strong knowledge of building systems, construction methodologies, structural interfaces, and multidisciplinary design coordination. Experience managing design reviews, authority submissions, compliance documentation, technical workshops, and construction-stage queries is expected. The successful candidate should also be capable of mentoring junior professionals and maintaining design quality across demanding project schedules. Experience with sustainable building design, LEED, Estidama, BIM clash detection, value engineering, and design risk management provides additional value.
