Job summary

AccorHotel Medina is seeking a vigilant Security Officer to patrol guest and back-of-house areas, monitor entrances and restricted zones, and respond to incidents with professionalism. The role involves documenting events, coordinating with CCTV operators, and supporting emergency procedures.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular patrols of guest areas, public areas, back-of-house areas, parking facilities and other designated locations.
• Monitor hotel entrances, exits, access points and restricted areas.
• Ensure that only authorized individuals have access to restricted areas.
• Respond promptly and professionally to security incidents, emergencies and guest or colleague concerns.
• Monitor and report any suspicious activity, safety hazards, unauthorized access or unusual behavior.
• Assist guests and colleagues in security-related matters with professionalism.
• Prepare accurate incident reports and maintain daily security logs.
• Coordinate with the CCTV Operator and Security Control Room on incidents and observations.
• Assist in emergencies including fire alarms, evacuations and medical incidents.
• Inspect doors, emergency exits and fire equipment for irregularities.
• Support incident investigations with relevant information and cooperation.
• Control movement of employees, contractors, visitors and deliveries as per procedures.
• Ensure lost and found items are logged and handled per policy.
• Maintain confidentiality regarding guest information and security operations.
• Complete all required security checklists, logs and reports on time.
• Follow all hotel security, safety, fire prevention and emergency procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Security Supervisor or Management.

• Conduct inspections of doors emergency exits fire equipment and other security-sensitive areas and report any irregularities
• Support the investigation of incidents by providing relevant information and cooperating with authorized departments
• Control and monitor the movement of employees contractors visitors and deliveries in accordance with hotel procedures
• Ensure that lost and found items are handled and recorded according to hotel policy
• Maintain strict confidentiality regarding guest information hotel operations security incidents and investigations
• Complete all required security checklists logs and reports accurately and on time

• Perform any other duties assigned by the Security Supervisor or Security Management

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a security role, preferably within a hotel or hospitality environment.
