Job summary

FAENA is seeking a Security Supervisor to oversee day-to-day security operations at our resort in Medina, ensuring the safety of guests, employees, and assets. The role supervises officers, monitors patrols, and enforces safety procedures with professionalism.

The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years in hospitality security, supervisory experience, and strong CCTV/access control knowledge, with English proficiency and a focus on guest-focused service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; degree in Security Management or related field preferred.
• 3–5 years of experience in security operations, preferably in hospitality, luxury hotels, or large-scale resorts.
• Prior supervisory security role experience is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of CCTV systems, access control, and security procedures.
• Proficient English; additional languages are an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily security operations across assigned resort areas.
• Lead security officers during patrols, shifts, and post assignments.
• Monitor CCTV systems, alarm systems, and security equipment to detect incidents.
• Respond promptly to security incidents, disturbances and emergencies.
• Report and document incidents accurately and elevate issues to the Security Manager when necessary.
• Coordinate with Front Office, Engineering, Housekeeping and other departments for operational security needs.
• Ensure proper handover between shifts and maintain accurate logbook records.
• Conduct toolbox talks and briefings for security staff at the start of shifts.
• Ensure all security personnel are properly groomed, trained, and following standards.
• Assist in emergency response situations including evacuations and drills.
• Monitor contractor, vendor, and visitor access to ensure compliance with security procedures.
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all guest and operational matters.

JOB OVERVIEW

The Security Supervisor is responsible for overseeing day-to-day security operations at FAENA ensuring the safety of guests employees and resort assets The role supervises security officers monitors patrols and surveillance systems responds to incidents and enforces safety procedures while maintaining a discreet professional approach aligned with ultra-luxury hospitality standards

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supervise daily security operations across assigned resort areas
• Lead and monitor security officers during patrols shifts and post assignments
• Ensure all access points entrances and restricted areas are properly controlled
• Monitor CCTV systems alarm systems and security equipment to detect and respond to incidents
• Respond promptly to security incidents disturbances and emergencies
• Report and document incidents accurately and elevate issues to the Security Manager when necessary
• Conduct regular inspections of resort premises to identify safety or security risks
• Enforce resort security policies procedures and access control standards
• Assist in managing VIP guest security arrangements when required
• Support crowd control and safety measures during events peak periods and special operations
• Coordinate with Front Office Engineering Housekeeping and other departments for operational security needs
• Ensure proper handover between shifts and maintain accurate logbook records
• Conduct toolbox talks and briefings for security staff at the start of shifts
• Ensure all security personnel are properly groomed trained and following standards

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT

QUALIFICATIONS DESIRED

• High school diploma required; diploma or degree in Security Management, Criminology, or related field preferred. 3 5 years of experience in security operations, preferably in hospitality, luxury hotels, or large-scale resorts.
• Prior experience in a supervisory security role is highly preferred.
• Basic certifications in first aid, fire safety, or emergency response are an advantage.
• Knowledge of CCTV systems, access control, and security procedures.
• Familiarity with local safety regulations and compliance standards.
• Proficiency in English; additional languages are an advantage.
