Job summary

Accor in Saudi Arabia's Makkah region is seeking a Security Supervisor for a luxury resort. You will lead daily security operations across resort areas and supervise officers, ensuring all access points and CCTV systems are properly controlled.

Fluency in English is required; 1–3 years in security, supervisory experience preferred. The role collaborates with Front Office, Engineering, and Housekeeping to maintain guest safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; diploma or degree in Security Management, Criminology, or related field preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience in security operations, preferably in hospitality, luxury hotels, or large-scale resorts.
• Prior supervisory security role is highly preferred.
• Basic certifications in first aid, fire safety, or emergency response are an advantage.
• Knowledge of CCTV systems, access control, and security procedures.
• Familiarity with local safety regulations and compliance standards.

Responsibilities

Job Description

• Supervise daily security operations across assigned resort areas.
• Lead and monitor security officers during patrols, shifts, and post assignments.
• Ensure all access points, entrances, and restricted areas are properly controlled.
• Monitor CCTV systems, alarm systems, and security equipment to detect and respond to incidents.
• Respond promptly to security incidents, disturbances, and emergencies.
• Report and document incidents accurately and escalate issues to the Security Manager when necessary.
• Conduct regular inspections of resort premises to identify safety or security risks.
• Enforce resort security policies, procedures, and access control standards.
• Assist in managing VIP guest security arrangements when required.
• Support crowd control and safety measures during events, peak periods, and special operations.
• Coordinate with Front Office, Engineering, Housekeeping, and other departments for operational security needs.
• Ensure proper handover between shifts and maintain accurate logbook records.
• Conduct toolbox talks and briefings for security staff at the start of shifts.
• Ensure all security personnel are properly groomed, trained, and following standards.
• Assist in emergency response situations, including evacuations and drills.
• Monitor contractor, vendor, and visitor access to ensure compliance with security procedures.
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all guest and operational matters.
