Job summary

Energy Care in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, is seeking a Business Development Manager to grow the company’s BESS business across commercial and industrial customers, renewable-energy projects, and EPC partners. You will generate qualified opportunities, build customer business cases, and convert pipeline into profitable orders.

The role requires 8+ years in energy-sector BD or solution-sales, strong knowledge of BESS, and a network within Saudi C&I/renewable energy markets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Renewable Energy, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of energy-sector business-development or solution-sales experience.
• Relevant experience in solar, BESS, renewable energy, microgrids or energy-efficiency solutions.
• Established network within the Saudi C&I, renewable-energy or EPC market.
• Proven ability to generate opportunities and close complex B2B projects.
• Good understanding of BESS applications, load profiles, ROI and project economics.
• Fluent in Arabic and English.
• Willingness to travel throughout Saudi Arabia.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the business-development plan for BESS and integrated energy solutions.
• Build relationships with C&I customers, renewable-energy developers, EPCs, consultants, ESCOs and government entities.
• Identify BESS opportunities involving solar integration, peak shaving, backup power, microgrids, power stability and diesel reduction.
• Conduct customer visits and coordinate technical assessments with internal engineering teams.
• Prepare proposals, presentations, commercial offers and customer business cases.
• Lead opportunities from initial engagement through negotiation and order award.
• Develop pilot projects that can become market references for Energy Care.
• Maintain accurate pipeline, forecast and activity reports.
• Monitor competitors, projects, market developments and partnership opportunities.
