Job summary

Manba Beirut Contracting Est. is seeking a driven Sales Engineer in Saudi Arabia to grow sales in steel fabrication and erection. You will drive client relationships, prepare material estimations, BOQs, and quotations, and ensure precise tonnage calculations from project drawings.

Responsibilities include site visits, presenting technical proposals, and coordinating with design, production, and execution teams to align with project scope.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or civil engineering.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in steel fabrication & erection sales.
• Strong understanding of tonnage calculation, material estimation, and BOQ preparation.
• Ability to read and interpret AutoCAD drawings.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Valid KSA driving license preferred.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing client relationships, and ensuring technical precision in estimations and proposals. You should have hands‑on experience in tonnage calculation, BOQ preparation, and interpreting technical drawings.

• Conduct site visits and client meetings to understand project requirements.
• Prepare accurate material estimations, BOQs, and quotations based on client specifications and project drawings.
• Perform tonnage calculations.
• Read and interpret AutoCAD drawings to assess scope and requirements.
• Coordinate with design, production, and execution teams to ensure project alignment.
• Support tendering and bidding processes with detailed technical and commercial inputs.
• Maintain excellent relationships with existing and potential clients.
• Prepare and deliver technical presentations and proposals to consultants and contractors.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in sales within the steel fabrication & erection industry.
• Strong understanding of tonnage calculation, material estimation, and BOQ preparation.
• Ability to read and interpret AutoCAD drawings.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
