Job summary

Deliveryhero in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia seeks a Regulatory Compliance & Operations Lead to monitor rider permits, vehicle docs, and work authorizations while ensuring adherence to road safety and local regulations.

You will audit compliance across logistics channels, implement guideline updates, and collaborate with Rider Ops, Supply, and Performance teams to optimize workflows and governance. Strong Excel skills and Saudi regulatory knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of relevant experience in compliance, logistics operations, fleet management, or regulatory audit within Saudi Arabia.
• Proven background in logistics or engineering operations managing driver/rider compliance and cross-functional workflows.
• Strong working knowledge of local Saudi logistics and labor regulations (TGA, MHRSD, etc.).
• Strong analytical skills with high proficiency in Excel and compliance tracking tools.

Responsibilities

• Monitor rider permit validity, vehicle documentation, work authorizations, and road safety regulations to mitigate regulatory non-compliance risks.
• Conduct regular compliance audits across logistics operational channels and identify potential gaps or regulatory non-conformities.
• Oversee the implementation of updated regulatory guidelines into daily rider operations and fleet activities.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align operational workflows with compliance rules and establish onboarding checkpoints.
• Analyze rider compliance metrics and prepare audit reports with improvement recommendations.
• Coordinate with external regulatory representatives during audits, inspections, or compliance inquiries.
• Review and update logistics compliance procedures and SOPs to drive risk mitigation and governance.
• Develop corrective action plans for non-compliant rider cases and process bottlenecks.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement of processes to enhance effectiveness.

Key Accountability Areas

Regulatory Compliance & Risk Monitoring

Monitor rider permit validity, vehicle documentation, work authorizations, and road safety regulations to mitigate regulatory non-compliance risks.

Conduct regular compliance audits across logistics operational channels and identify potential gaps or regulatory non-conformities.

Oversee the implementation of updated regulatory guidelines into daily rider operations and fleet activities.

Cross-Functional & Operational Alignment

Collaborate with internal stakeholders including Rider Operations, Experience, Supply, Optimization, and Performance teams to align operational workflows with compliance rules.

Establish clear compliance control checkpoints within rider onboarding, dispatching, and performance processes.

Analyze rider compliance metrics and prepare detailed audit reports, highlighting areas for operational improvement.

Coordinate with external regulatory representatives and internal departments during audits, inspections, or official compliance inquiries.

Process Optimization & Governance

Continuously review and update logistics compliance procedures, risk mitigation protocols, and operational standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Develop corrective action plans for non-compliant rider cases, operational bottlenecks, or regulatory infractions.

Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of processes and practices to enhance effectiveness.

Manage and monitor all HungerStation department operational governmental violations.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

Knowledge and Experience

5-7 years of relevant experience in compliance, logistics operations, fleet management, or regulatory audit within Saudi Arabia

Proven background in logistics or engineering operations managing driver/rider compliance and cross-functional workflows.

Strong working knowledge of local Saudi logistics and labor regulations (TGA, MHRSD, etc.)

Strong analytical skills with high proficiency in Excel and compliance tracking tools.

Education and Certifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or any other related discipline is required
• Master's degree in Supply Chain Management or any related discipline is preferred
• International certifications in Supply Chain Management are preferred
