Job summary

Qureos is seeking a highly skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role focuses on managing all aspects of cost control, including preparing estimates, budget analysis, and ensuring cost efficiency throughout the project lifecycle.

The ideal candidate will work closely with the project team to ensure projects are completed within budget and to the highest quality standards. A minimum of 10 years of experience and a Bachelor's degree in a related field are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in quantity surveying in the construction industry, preferably in Saudi Arabia.
• In-depth knowledge of construction costs, contracts, and methods.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets for projects
• Analyze and negotiate subcontractor and supplier quotations
• Monitor project costs and provide regular cost reports to the project team
• Identify potential cost-saving measures and suggest alternatives
• Prepare and review variation orders and claims
• Conduct site visits to assess progress and ensure compliance with budget and contract specifications
• Liaise with clients, subcontractors and suppliers to resolve any cost-related issues
• Maintain accurate records of all cost-related activities
• Keep up-to-date with industry trends and changes in construction costs
