Job summary

Tanint in Saudi Arabia seeks a Back Office PS Core Engineer to support Ericsson Packet Core and 5G Core operations, optimization, and evolution. The role focuses on maintaining reliability, performance, and scalability in a large mobile network environment.

You will configure, monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize EPC and 5GC elements, collaborate with cross‑functional teams, and contribute to capacity planning, incident management, and automation efforts using Bash/Python.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant telecommunications/IT field.
• 4–8 years hands-on PS Core, EPC or 5G Core experience.
• Strong knowledge of Ericsson MME/SGSN-MM E, EPG, PCC/PCG, SMF/UPF.
• Experience with 2G/3G/4G/5G networks and core signaling protocols.

Responsibilities

• Configure, administer, and optimize Ericsson EPC and 5G Core elements.
• Monitor performance, troubleshoot PS Core faults, and optimize KPIs.
• Collaborate with OSS/BSS, RAN, and transmission teams on cross-domain issues.
• Develop automation scripts to improve efficiency and reduce manual tasks.
• Prepare RCAs and operational documentation; support upgrades and changes.
