Job summary

Tech Junction Ltd in Saudi Arabia is seeking an exceptionally skilled Back Office PS Core Engineer to support Ericsson PS Core, EPC, and 5G Core environments, ensuring high availability and performance in a carrier-grade network.

You will configure, troubleshoot, and upgrade core network elements (MME, EPG, PCC/PCG, SMF, UPF), analyze KPIs, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. On-site role with potential cloud-native CNF exposure using OpenStack and Kubernetes.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
4–8 years of hands-on PS Core/EPC/5G Core engineering.
Deep technical expertise with Ericsson packet core hardware and software (MME, EPG, PCC/PCG, SMF, UPF).
Knowledge of 2G/3G/4G/5G call flows, subscriber session mgmt, QoS, and bearer handling.
Experience troubleshooting core network signaling (GTP, Diameter).
Strong problem-solving and incident management skills.
On-site work authorization in Saudi Arabia.

Responsibilities

Provide expert back-office support, configuration, and maintenance for Ericsson Packet Core, EPC, and 5G Core environments.
Manage, configure, troubleshoot core network nodes including MME, EPG, PCC/PCG, SAPC, SMF, UPF.
Analyze and troubleshoot multi-generation call flows and signaling protocols across 2G/3G/4G/5G.
Monitor sessions, APNs, QoS, and bearer handling.
Perform software upgrades, patches, and integration testing for new elements.
Analyze KPIs and optimize packet core throughput and latency.
Respond to high-priority incidents with RCA and cross-functional mitigation.
