Job summary

SIS Global in Saudi Arabia is seeking a Senior Core Network Engineer to lead operation, maintenance, and modernization of mobile core networks including CS Core, EPC, and 5G Core. You will drive performance, reliability, and service quality across voice and data services.

The role requires deep knowledge of telecom protocols, tracing, and configuration management, with a focus on high-availability carrier-grade operations and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required.
• Strong hands-on experience in Mobile Core Network Operations and Maintenance.
• Experience with MSC, MGW, HLR, HSS, UDC, EIR, PGW/UPG, UPF, and 5GC network functions.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, and optimize mobile core network platforms across CS Core, EPC, and 5G Core environments.
• Monitor network health, alarms, traffic statistics, and service performance indicators.
• Perform end-to-end service tracing and advanced troubleshooting across voice and data services.
• Conduct fault isolation, root cause analysis, and service restoration activities.
• Support network configuration management and operational change implementation.
• Perform software upgrades, patch management, and platform lifecycle activities.
• Analyze network performance trends and implement optimization initiatives.
• Conduct capacity planning and resource utilization assessments.
• Support security audits, configuration audits, and compliance activities.
• Collaborate with engineering teams during new node integrations, expansions, and modernization projects.
• Prepare technical reports, operational documentation, and incident analysis reports.
