Job summary

Moneymoon is seeking a motivated student or recent graduate to join our design team as an Intern, focused on design systems and UX copy. You will collaborate with Product and Engineering, prototype in Claude Design and Figma, and help ensure bilingual English-Arabic content aligns with brand standards.

You will gain hands-on experience shaping real product experiences, building a strong portfolio, and learning how a fintech startup operates across design and development cycles.

Qualifications

• Portfolio or projects demonstrating product design and design systems.
• Understanding UX principles, user flows, wireframing, prototyping.
• Experience with bilingual content is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Audit and extend our design system, including components, tokens, and patterns, using Claude Design to move faster.
• Redesign and improve UI across the app and internal/back-office systems.
• Prototype flows in Claude Design and Figma, then validate them with real users or internal stakeholders before development.
• Write and refine bilingual English and Arabic product and UX copy, including microcopy, empty states, error messages, and onboarding content.
• Work closely within the Product and Development cycle to ensure designs are implemented as specified, not simply handed off.
• Document design system usage guidelines so new features remain visually and functionally consistent.

Moneymoon is a pioneering Fintech platform transforming short-term microlending through secure, compliant, and seamless peer-to-peer technology. We enable individuals to support one another through a one-month lending model built on transparency, safety, and trust. As we progress through the Saudi Central Bank (SAMA) Regulatory Sandbox and prepare for full licensing, robust cybersecurity governance is critical to our mission.

About the Role

• Audit and extend our design system, including components, tokens, and patterns, using Claude Design to move faster.

Qualifications

• Students or recent graduates in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Human-Computer Interaction, Digital Media, Graphic Design, or a related technical or design field.
• Candidates from other technical majors are also encouraged to apply if they have a strong portfolio or practical experience in Product Design, UI/UX, prototyping, or design systems.
• Experience using design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Claude Design, or similar platforms.
• Understanding of UX principles, user flows, wireframing, prototyping, and responsive interface design.
• Basic knowledge of design systems, reusable components, design tokens, and interface patterns.
• Strong visual design skills with attention to usability, consistency, accessibility, and detail.
• Ability to write clear product and UX copy in English and Arabic.
• Personal, university, internship, freelance, or hackathon projects that demonstrate practical product design and problem-solving skills.
