Job summary

SILQFi is hiring a Founding Product Designer to build the best Buyer App experience in B2B fintech. You will be the first full-time designer, reporting to the Head of Product and VP Growth, shaping end-to-end UX from onboarding SMEs to credit utilization and repayment insights.

You will adapt patterns from global fintechs to B2B, craft a modern design system with generous whitespace, and design for trust so merchants clearly understand terms.

Qualifications

• Experience designing financial services, healthcare or enterprise software with high-stakes scenarios.
• Have shipped products from ambiguity to production.
• Strong RTL (Arabic) interface design experience.
• Experience building design systems from scratch and enforcing standards.
• Ability to move quickly in ambiguous environments with strong design judgment.

Responsibilities

• Own the Buyer App experience end to end—from onboarding SMEs to credit-utilization views.
• Adapt proven fintech UX patterns to a B2B context.

About The Role

To an SME owner, credit is not a financial product. It is hiring a tenth employee instead of watching a best season slip by because cash sat in a 90-day invoice cycle. FINA is building infrastructure that makes this possible - embedded Buy Now Pay Later and Supply Chain Finance designed for how B2B commerce actually works.

We are hiring a Founding Product Designer to build the best Buyer App experience in B2B fintech - one strong enough to become a stepping stone for our future banking capabilities. Local B2B fintech players are behind on experience. This is our moment to hit escape velocity, and design is how we do it.

You will be our first full-time designer. You will work directly with Head of Product and VP Growth, with no design manager between you and decisions that matter. Your job is to bring B2C-grade craft to B2B - making a first-time borrower feel confident, informed and in control at every consequential moment: applying for credit, reading a repayment schedule, understanding why a payment failed.

What You Will Be Doing

• Owning the Buyer App experience end to end - from onboarding an SME in under five minutes to giving a finance manager a clear picture of credit utilization across product lines, across web and mobile.


• Adapting proven patterns, not inventing new ones. Companies around the world (Klarna, Affirms, Tabby and Tamara) have already solved business and consumer credit UX/UI. We would like to learn from them, study what works, adapt it for B2B and our local environment and ship it.


• Building a consistent, new-age design system - generous white space, rounded edges, fresh and modern throughout - so every screen across our Buyer App, merchant panel and embedded touchpoints feels like one product.


• Designing for trust. You will shape how a merchant who has never taken a loan understands exactly what they signed up for, and decide how complexity gets hidden without hiding too much.


• Making design a defining capability, not a bolt-on - establishing standards, process and quality bar that scale as we grow toward broader banking capabilities.

What We Are Looking For

• Someone who has designed products where stakes were real - financial services, healthcare or enterprise software - where a confused user costs more than a bounce rate.


• Someone who has shipped, not just prototyped, and can point to live products they carried from ambiguity to production.


• Deep care for the person on the other side of the screen - for whom words like \"tenure\" and \"disbursement\" are intimidating, and who needs to feel confident, not lectured.


• Comfort with ambiguity and speed in execution. Design decisions here get made in conversation, not in committees.

Skills That Set You Apart

• BNPL or consumer fintech design experience - you understand credit, repayment and trust-building flows at a level most designers do not.


• RTL (Right-to-Left) design experience for Arabic interfaces - a strong plus given our MENA user base.


• Experiences building design systems (fresh, new-age, minimalist) from scratch and holding teams to it.
