Job summary

YES Machinery, expanding into Saudi Arabia, seeks a PR & Customs / Logistics Officer in Dammam to manage customs clearance, logistics coordination and government portal activities. You will handle import/export documentation, liaise with brokers and authorities, ensure regulatory compliance, and maintain records for timely deliveries.

Ideal candidates have 2–4 years in Saudi logistics, strong knowledge of FASAH/SABER/SASO/ZATCA, and English communication skills; Arabic is a plus.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of relevant experience in Saudi Arabia.
• Strong experience in Customs Clearance & Logistics.
• Practical knowledge of Saudi import/export procedures.
• Experience with FASAH, SABER, SASO, ZATCA and other Saudi platforms.
• Good understanding of customs documentation and clearance procedures.
• Good knowledge of Saudi government and regulatory procedures.
• Strong follow-up, coordination, and documentation skills.
• Good communication skills in English; Arabic is an advantage.
• Proficiency in MS Office and basic documentation/reporting.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Handle and coordinate customs clearance activities for incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Coordinate with customs brokers, freight forwarders, transporters, shipping companies, and government authorities.
• Prepare, verify, and maintain import/export and customs documentation.
• Manage shipment documentation including invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, bills of lading, delivery orders, and related documents.
• Coordinate shipments from port/airport to warehouse or customer locations and ensure timely delivery.
• Handle relevant Saudi government platforms and procedures such as FASAH, SABER, SASO and ZATCA.
• Follow up on customs declarations, approvals, inspections, duties, and shipment releases.
• Ensure compliance with Saudi customs, import/export, and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with suppliers, customers, logistics providers, and internal departments regarding shipment status and delivery schedules.
• Monitor shipment costs, clearance charges, transportation expenses, and related documentation.
• Handle Public Relations (PR) / government-related activities, including document submissions, renewals, registrations, and follow-ups with relevant authorities.
• Maintain proper records of company documents, licenses, permits, customs documents, and government transactions.
• Support the company with visa, iqama, vehicle, establishment, and other administrative/government formalities, as required.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements

• Practical knowledge of Saudi import/export procedures.


• Experience with FASAH, SABER, SASO, ZATCA and other relevant Saudi platforms.


• Good understanding of customs documentation and clearance procedures.


• Experience coordinating with customs brokers, freight forwarders, transport companies, and government authorities.


• Good knowledge of Saudi government and regulatory procedures.


• Strong follow-up, coordination, and documentation skills.


• Good communication skills in English; Arabic will be an added advantage.


• Proficiency in MS Office and basic documentation/reporting.


• Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.


• Valid Saudi Driving License is preferred.

Preferred Industry Experience

Candidates with experience in heavy machinery, industrial equipment, construction equipment, spare parts, engineering products, or similar industries will be preferred.
