Talent Diamond is seeking an experienced Customs Clearance Officer to join its Jeddah operations. The role focuses on accurate, timely import/export clearance in line with Saudi regulations and company procedures.

You will manage documentation, coordinate with Saudi Customs and freight teams, and resolve clearance issues to minimize delays, using Bayan system and ensuring compliant shipment releases.

Qualifications

• Candidate should have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Certification in customs clearance, logistics or supply chain is an advantage.
• 3–5 years of experience in customs clearance, freight forwarding or logistics operations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review and submit customs declarations through the Bayan system.
• Ensure all customs documentation is accurate, complete and compliant.
• Coordinate with Saudi Customs authorities regarding clearance, inspections and approvals.
• Monitor shipment status and ensure timely release of cargo.
• Coordinate with freight forwarding, transportation, warehouse and operations teams.
• Resolve customs-related discrepancies, documentation issues and shipment delays.
• Ensure compliance with Saudi Customs laws, regulations and company procedures.
• Maintain accurate customs declarations and supporting documents.
• Coordinate with internal departments to obtain required shipment information.
• Maintain organized customs records to support audits.

Our client, a leading regional logistics and supply chain company, is looking for an experienced Customs Clearance Officer to join its operations in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accurate, efficient and timely clearance of import and export shipments in compliance with Saudi Customs regulations, company procedures and customer requirements.

Position Summary

The Customs Clearance Officer will manage customs documentation and clearance activities for import and export shipments.

The role requires hands-on experience with Saudi customs procedures and the Bayan Customs Clearance System, together with the ability to coordinate effectively with customs authorities, freight forwarding teams, transportation, warehouses and internal operations.

The successful candidate should be highly organized, detail-oriented and able to resolve customs-related issues quickly to minimize shipment delays.

Key Responsibilities

Which profile are we looking for?

• Good working knowledge of the Bayan Customs Clearance System.
• Experience coordinating with customs authorities and regulatory agencies.
• Strong understanding of import/export documentation and trade compliance.
• Strong knowledge of Saudi Customs regulations and clearance procedures.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
