Job summary

Lucid Motors in Saudi Arabia seeks a Powertrain Robotics Engineer to commission, program, and optimize FANUC, ABB, and KUKA cells. You will support tooling integration, EOAT, and safety validation during a greenfield launch, improving uptime and cycle times.

You will drive maintenance, RCA investigations, and change control while collaborating with Production, QA, and EHS teams in a fast-paced EV manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Electrical, or Robotics Engineering.
• 3+ years in industrial robotics.
• Hands-on programming experience with FANUC, ABB, or KUKA.
• Fluent in English; Arabic strongly preferred.
• Preferred: multi-brand robotics experience; EOAT integration; greenfield launch experience.

Responsibilities

• Robot Integration, Commissioning, Teaching & Programming for FANUC, ABB, and KUKA.
• Support offline programming and simulation activities.
• Maintain and optimize robots to maximize throughput across the asset lifecycle.
• Support end-of-arm tooling design reviews and integration.
• Troubleshoot EOAT issues and robot faults; support recovery events.
• Ensure robot safety validation, HV safety compliance, and readiness reviews.
• Contribute to launch governance, change control, and operator readiness.
• Develop maintainable robot programs, frames, TCPs, backups and validation.
• Collaborate across functions to ensure traceability, QA, and data integrity.
