Job summary

Lucid Motors is seeking a Sr Manufacturing Engineer, Drive Unit to own process engineering for the DU line on AMP-2, from initial commissioning through volume ramp-up in Saudi Arabia. You will build PFMEA, control plans, and DoE studies, driving FPY, scrap reduction, and cycle-time improvements while ensuring safe launch and knowledge transfer to the Saudi workforce.

Strong PFMEA, PPAP, SPC, and DoE experience are required, with IATF16949 and Six Sigma preferred.

Qualifications

• PFMEA, PPAP, SPC track record
• Experience with DoE and structured problem solving
• Fluent in English; Arabic strongly preferred
• Six Sigma Green/Black Belt; greenfield launch experience

Responsibilities

• Own PFMEA, Control Plans, SPC and PPAP for DU processes
• Lead DoE studies and problem-solving to reduce losses
• Support safe launch and ramp-up with objective evidence and cross-functional collaboration
• Develop and maintain process documentation, CPs and setup standards
• Drive FPY improvement, scrap reduction and cycle-time optimization
• Ensure HV safety compliance and cross-functional training during transfer to Saudi workforce
