Job summary

Lucid Motors is seeking a hands-on Shift Maintenance Leader for Powertrain operations in Saudi Arabia to lead maintenance technicians, coordinate planned and reactive work, and ensure safe, reliable handovers across Drive Unit and Battery lines.

You translate production plans into actionable maintenance schedules, oversee safety compliance (LOTO, high voltage, guarding), drive 6S and continuous improvement, and partner with quality, engineering and production to protect ramp-up and launch

Qualifications

• Technical diploma or associate qualification in mechanical, electrical, mechatronics, industrial maintenance or closely related discipline.
• 4+ years of industrial maintenance experience coordinating technicians, shift work or maintenance response in a production environment.
• Hands-on experience with automated manufacturing equipment and safe troubleshooting across mechanical and electrical systems.
• Working knowledge of CMMS, preventive maintenance, breakdown response, spare-parts control and structured problem solving.
• Fluent Arabic and working-level English, with ability to communicate technical status, risk and escalation clearly across a multicultural workforce.

Responsibilities

• Lead front-line maintenance team to manage planned and reactive work, safety, and handover.
• Translate production plan into a prioritized shift maintenance plan with clear ownership, timing, parts and escalation routes.
• Lead structured shift start, tier response and end-of-shift handover; communicate equipment status and next actions.
• Maintain disciplined work-order control, labor booking, failure coding and CMMS documentation for reliability analysis.
• Coordinate preventive, predictive and breakdown maintenance with cross-functional teams including production, quality, engineering and suppliers.
• Support equipment installation, commissioning, run-at-rate, and ramp-up for greenfield Powertrain launch.
