Job summary

Lucid Motors in Saudi Arabia seeks a Senior Robotics Engineer, Powertrain, to define and enforce robotics standards for AMP-2, cover offline programming and reliability, and drive safety validation for the Drive Unit and HV Battery fleets.

You will own robot uptime, cycle-time optimization, and collaborate across cross-functional teams to ensure a safe, scalable launch in a greenfield facility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Electrical, or Robotics Engineering is required.
• 5–8 years in industrial robotics with multi-brand experience preferred.
• Fluent in English; Arabic strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Define and enforce robotics standards across FANUC, ABB, and KUKA populations.
• Own offline programming environments and cell design implementations.
• Manage robot uptime KPIs, maintenance strategy, and downtime reduction.
• Lead cycle-time optimization and structured validation for new cells.
• Ensure robot safety validation and HV safety compliance across powertrain.
• Support launch governance, readiness reviews, and change control.
