People Operations Specialist - Onsite in Khobar

Job summary

TakeIn, a Saudi-based food delivery platform, is seeking a People Operations Specialist to run the day-to-day HR activities for the Saudi team from our Khobar office. You will handle government platform submissions, onboarding, contracts, leave, payroll inputs, and offboarding, while improving processes with our People & Talent team.

You will work closely with employees and managers, ensuring clear policies and accurate records, and you will be responsible for maintaining HR systems and reports.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in HR operations or a generalist role, with hands-on experience in Saudi Arabia.
• Direct experience using at least two of Qiwa, GOSI, Mudad, Muqeem.
• Experience across the employee lifecycle: onboarding, contracts, leave, payroll inputs, and offboarding.
• One example of a people process or system you built or improved from start to finish.
• Arabic and working English, with clear communication with employees and managers.
• Good judgement with confidential information and careful record keeping.
• Comfort with HR systems, spreadsheets, and learning new tools.
• Openness to feedback and developing your approach with the team.
• Ability to work onsite in Khobar office every working day.

Responsibilities

• Handle employee-related work on Saudi government platforms, submissions, records, and follow-up.
• Coordinate onboarding from accepted offer to first weeks, ensuring documents and setup are complete.
• Maintain employee records, contracts, leave information, and lifecycle changes in HR systems.
• Prepare and check payroll inputs and coordinate corrections with owners.
• Support employees and managers with routine questions and explain policies clearly.
• Coordinate offboarding, including documentation and handovers.
• Support hiring through scheduling, candidate follow-up, and onboarding handover.
• Build or improve onboarding flows, trackers, reporting routines, and recurring-requests handling.
• Keep HR reports up to date and use HR systems, automation, and AI tools thoughtfully.
