Job summary

AMAD Hospital is seeking a Patient Access Officer to join the Admissions team in Riyadh. The role focuses on high-quality administrative, reception, and clerical tasks, utilizing the Hospital Information System to complete bookings and registrations.

The successful candidate will greet patients, collect accurate data, pre-register for Day Care admissions, schedule follow-ups, and coordinate with clinical staff to ensure smooth patient flow within the department.

Qualifications

• Must speak and write Arabic.
• Minimum 1 year experience in hospital admissions/registration.
• Experience in hospital admissions and registration department or similar health care setting.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients, relatives, staff and visitors with professional customer care.
• Register patients in HIS by entering demographic and clinical data.
• Pre-register patients for elective Day Care Admissions; verify OR booking list.
• Schedule appointments for new patients and follow-up visits in HIS.
• Update patient movement and complete discharge processes in HIS.
• Organize clinic appointment lists and maximize physicians’ clinic time.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and promote services to patients and referrers.
