Job summary

Flowserve is seeking a Field Service Technician to install, commission, troubleshoot, and repair pumps, seals, and related equipment at customer sites across multiple industries. You will provide real-time technical support, lead repair cycles, and ensure installations meet schedules while training customers on proper operation.

The role requires travel, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to read engineering drawings, with excellent communication and organizational abilities.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years relevant field service experience.
• Professional certifications in this field preferred.
• Ability to travel internationally for extended periods.
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics; work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Make direct, in-person service calls at customer sites.
• Assess mechanical problems and resolve promptly.
• Lead work crews and coordinate with customer personnel.
• Oversee repair cycle: disassembly, cleaning, inspection, repair, and assembly.
• Install equipment successfully and on schedule.
• Train customers on operating and maintaining Flowserve products.
• Maintain organized records: daily reports, quotes, time and materials.
