Job summary

Freudenberg Group is seeking a Service Engineer to install, commission and maintain mechanical seals across diverse industrial systems in Saudi Arabia. You will diagnose issues, provide technical support on-site and remotely, and train customers on best practices to optimize seal performance and uptime.

You will collaborate with sales and engineering teams to identify improvements and stay current with advances in sealing technology, while traveling to customer sites as required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Service Engineer, Field Service Technician, or similar technical role focusing on mechanical seals or rotating equipment.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical seals, seal support systems, and related machinery.
• Experience diagnosing and repairing seal issues including leakage and misalignment.

Responsibilities

• Installation & commissioning: install and set up mechanical seals in pumps, compressors, agitators, and other rotating equipment.
• Maintenance & troubleshooting: perform preventive maintenance and diagnose seal failures to prevent downtime.
• Technical support & consulting: provide on-site and remote advice on seal selection, installation, and troubleshooting.
• Documentation & reporting: maintain service records and report on activities and improvements.
• Customer training: educate customers on operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of seals.
• Collaboration: work with sales and engineering for feedback and product improvements.
• Continuous learning & improvement: stay updated on new materials and sealing technologies.
