Job summary

Ma'aden Gold and Base Metals (MGBM) seeks an experienced Supervisor Mining to lead a site team, ensuring safe, productive operations across drilling, blasting, loading, hauling and plant interfaces.

You will coordinate with planning and engineering, optimize pit designs, monitor equipment, maintain records, and drive continuous improvement while upholding safety and environmental standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mining engineering, geology, or related field.
• 5–7 years open-pit or underground mining experience, with 2–3 years in supervision.
• Certifications in mine supervision or leadership are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate mining operations to meet production targets.
• Ensure safety, SOPs, and environmental standards are followed.
• Lead and coach mining crews to improve skills and efficiency.
• Coordinate with planning and engineering to implement mine plans and optimize pit designs.
• Monitor equipment performance and coordinate maintenance to maximize uptime.
• Maintain production records, shift reports, and logs for regulatory compliance.
• Liaise with geology, processing, and maintenance to support production objectives.
• Control operating costs by managing consumables, fuel, and labor.
