Job summary

Ma'aden Aluminium Company (MAC) is seeking a Supervisor Mining to oversee and coordinate mining activities at a designated site in Saudi Arabia. You will manage a team of mining operators, ensure safety and environmental compliance, and optimize production efficiency while coordinating with planning and maintenance teams.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in mining engineering or geology, 5–7 years in mining with 2–3 in supervision, and strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mining engineering, geology, or related field.
• Minimum 5-7 years of experience in open-pit or underground mining operations, with 2-3 years in a supervisory/leadership role.
• Strong understanding of mine planning, ore reserve estimation, and grade control practices.
• Proficiency in mine safety regulations, risk management practices, and environmental compliance requirements.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with ability to motivate and inspire teams.
• Sound analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify inefficiencies and drive improvements.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate mining operations including drilling, blasting, loading, hauling and dumping to meet production targets.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, SOPs and environmental standards, conducting safety inspections and risk assessments.
• Provide leadership and direction to mining crews, assigning tasks and coaching for performance improvement.
• Coordinate with mine planning and engineering teams to implement mine plans and optimize pit designs.
• Monitor equipment performance and utilization; coordinate maintenance to maximize availability.
• Maintain accurate production records and prepare reports for management and regulatory compliance.
• Liaise with geology, processing and maintenance to coordinate ore delivery, grade control and equipment scheduling.
