Job summary

Mohammad Al-Habib Real Estate Investment Company is seeking a Senior Mechanical Site Engineer for a landmark high-rise towers development in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Job Brief

We are looking for a skilled and experienced mechanical engineer to join our team for the new opening for Senior Mechanical Site Engineer on a landmark high-rise towers development in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

• Act as the Main Contractor's/Developer's site engineer, taking full responsibility for direct execution, resourcing, and delivery of mechanical works — not limited to a supervisory or consultancy role.
• Supervise and execute installation of HVAC, plumbing, fire-fighting, and chilled water systems as per approved drawings.
• Coordinate mechanical works with civil, electrical, and architectural site activities.
• Verify shop drawing implementation and BIM coordination compliance on site.
• Conduct and record formal site work inspections at each stage of mechanical installation (pipe routing, pressure testing, insulation, equipment installation) prior to sign-off and progression to the next stage.
• Manage direct labor crews and/or subcontractors performing mechanical works, and verify progress and quality of works.
• Prepare and verify quantity take-offs and measurement of executed mechanical works for interim payment certificates and variation/change order evaluation.
• Coordinate directly with the Technical Team and design consultants on RFIs and site queries affecting mechanical works.
• Supervise and mentor Junior Mechanical Engineers assigned to respective work fronts.
• Monitor testing, balancing, and commissioning of mechanical systems.
• Ensure compliance with mechanical codes, Civil Defense fire-fighting requirements, and the project's technical standards.
• Maintain inspection and test records for mechanical installations.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of mechanical engineering experience on high-rise tower projects (experience within KSA acceptable from any location).
• Direct, hands-on execution background — not purely design/consultancy.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, fire-fighting, and chilled water systms.
• Experience managing labor crews and/or subcontractors on site.
• Familiarity with BIM-coordinated shop drawings and site verification.
• Working knowledge of Saudi Civil Defense fire-fighting codes and mechanical standards.
• Track record of managing inspection/testing documentation and QA/QC sign-off processes.
