Responsibilities

• Review civil and structural drawings and shop drawings for towers.
• Prepare and coordinate civil/structural shop drawings aligned with BIM model.
• Prepare and maintain As-Built drawings reflecting site execution.
• Prepare and verify BOQ take-offs for civil/structural works for procurement and tendering.
• Conduct technical/QC reviews against design, Saudi Building Code, and international standards.
• Support BIM coordination ensuring clash-free integration with architectural and MEP disciplines.
• Review vendor/subcontractor submittals and test certificates.
• Provide technical guidance to site civil engineers on complex design issues.
• Participate in technical inspections and structural commissioning reviews.

Job Brief

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Civil Technical Engineer (BIM) to join our Technical Department for a landmark high-rise development in Riyadh. The successful candidate will play a key role in reviewing and coordinating civil and structural engineering deliverables, ensuring technical compliance, BIM integration, and quality throughout the construction lifecycle.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in high-rise tower projects, strong BIM coordination skills, and the ability to provide technical leadership while supporting construction, quality assurance, and multidisciplinary coordination.

• Review civil and structural design drawings and shop drawings for towers, ensuring compliance with approved design intent and specifications.
• Prepare and coordinate civil/structural shop drawings, ensuring compliance with the BIM-coordinated model and actual site conditions.
• Prepare and maintain As-Built drawings for civil/structural works, reflecting actual site execution for record and handover purposes.
• Prepare and verify BOQ (Bill of Quantities) take-offs for civil/structural works from drawings, to support procurement, tendering, and evaluation of variations/change orders.
• Conduct technical/QC reviews of civil and structural works against approved design, the Saudi Building Code, and applicable international standards.
• Support BIM coordination for structural elements, ensuring clash-free integration with architectural and MEP disciplines.
• Review vendor/subcontractor technical submittals, material approvals, and test certificates.
• Provide technical support and guidance to site civil engineers on complex design and construction issues.
• Participate in technical inspections, witness testing, and structural commissioning reviews.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering.
• Professional Engineering registration is preferred.
• BIM-related certifications (Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, BIM Management, etc.) are an advantage.

Experience

• Minimum 10 years of experience in civil/structural engineering.
• Proven experience on high-rise tower projects.
• Strong BIM coordination experience throughout design and construction phases.
• Experience may be gained anywhere within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
• Previous experience with major contractors or developers is preferred.
