Job summary

FUTURE CONNECT seeks a Senior Mechanical Technical Engineer for a major high-rise tower project in Riyadh. You will review HVAC, plumbing, fire-fighting, and chilled water systems, coordinating with BIM and site conditions, and delivering As-Built drawings and BOQ takes-offs.

You will lead BIM/MEP coordination, review submittals, and supervise commissioning activities, ensuring compliance with Saudi codes and international standards. Saudi Arabia-based role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.
• 13+ years of relevant experience in high-rise tower projects.
• Strong knowledge of BIM/Revit and MEP coordination.
• Experience with Saudi codes and international standards.

Responsibilities

• Review mechanical design and shop drawings for HVAC, plumbing, fire-fighting, and chilled water systems.
• Coordinate mechanical shop drawings with the BIM model and site conditions.
• Prepare and review As-Built drawings for mechanical works and O&M handover.
• Prepare and verify BOQ take-offs and support variations/change orders.
• Conduct technical and QC reviews of mechanical installations per codes and standards.
• Lead BIM/MEP coordination and resolve cross-discipline clashes.
• Review submittals, datasheets, and material approvals.
• Provide technical guidance to site mechanical engineers.
• Support testing, balancing, and commissioning activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Review mechanical design and shop drawings for HVAC, plumbing, fire-fighting, and chilled water systems.
• Coordinate mechanical shop drawings with the BIM model and actual site conditions.
• Prepare and review As-Built drawings for mechanical works and O&M handover.
• Prepare and verify BOQ take-offs and support variations/change orders.
• Conduct technical and QC reviews of mechanical installations in accordance with Saudi codes, ASHRAE, NFPA, and project standards.
• Lead BIM/MEP coordination and resolve cross-discipline clashes.
• Review technical submittals, equipment datasheets, and material approvals.
• Provide technical guidance to site mechanical engineers.
• Support testing, balancing, and commissioning activities.

Requirements
