Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.

• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and utility systems.
• Experience with main contractors or leading construction companies in Saudi Arabia.
• Proficient with AutoCAD, MS Office, and construction reporting tools.

• Conduct site inspections, progress meetings, and reports; support testing and handover.

Mechanical Construction Manager is responsible for leading and managing all mechanical construction activities across project sites, ensuring the successful execution of HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and other mechanical systems in accordance with approved designs, quality standards, project schedules, and budget requirements. The role requires close coordination with engineering, civil, electrical, procurement, subcontractors, and site teams to ensure efficient project delivery throughout all construction phases.

Key Accountabilities

The position involves:

• Lead and manage all mechanical construction activities across multiple projects and site locations.
• Oversee the installation and execution of HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, and other mechanical systems in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
• Coordinate with civil, electrical, architectural, procurement, planning, and QA/QC teams to ensure seamless project execution and multidisciplinary integration.
• Monitor project progress, manpower productivity, subcontractor performance, and material availability to ensure timely completion of mechanical works.
• Ensure all mechanical construction activities comply with company standards, project specifications, local authority regulations, and health and safety requirements.
• Review and resolve technical and site-related mechanical issues while providing practical engineering solutions to maintain project schedules.
• Manage mechanical subcontractors, site engineers, supervisors, and construction teams to achieve efficient project execution.
• Participate in construction planning, work sequencing, resource allocation, and project coordination meetings.
• Monitor project costs, productivity, material consumption, and construction risks while supporting cost-control initiatives.
• Conduct regular site inspections, progress meetings, and performance reviews with project stakeholders.
• Ensure accurate documentation, reporting, and control of all mechanical construction activities.
• Support testing & commissioning, snagging, project handover, and final close-out activities.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

We are Looking for:

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 10–15 years of experience in mechanical construction and site management within large-scale construction projects.
• Previous experience in residential, hospitality, and/or mixed-use developments is required.
• Strong experience managing mechanical works including HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and utility systems.
• Previous experience working with main contractors or leading construction companies in Saudi Arabia.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical construction methodologies, installation standards, testing & commissioning, quality requirements, and safety regulations.
• Familiarity with project planning, scheduling, and construction management processes.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and construction reporting tools.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple fast-paced construction activities and deliver projects within tight deadlines.
