Job summary

WETICO in Saudi Arabia is seeking an experienced Mechanical Assembly Supervisor to lead the assembly and integration of skids, packages, and equipment for energy projects. The role focuses on safe, on-schedule completion per drawings and quality standards.

The candidate should have 8+ years in mechanical assembly, supervisory experience, and hands-on skills in alignment, flange management, bolting, and torqueing, with preference for experience in SAES/SAEP environments.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of experience in mechanical assembly within fabrication/manufacturing, including supervisory roles.
• Experience in oil & gas, petrochemical, or water treatment package manufacturing.
• Strong ability to read engineering drawings, P&IDs, and assembly specifications.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and a safety-first mindset.

Responsibilities

• Supervise mechanical assembly activities and assign daily work to the assembly team.
• Ensure equipment is assembled according to engineering drawings, P&IDs, and project specifications.
• Oversee equipment alignment, flange management, bolting, gasket installation, and torqueing.
• Coordinate with QC to ensure dimensional accuracy, fit-up, and completeness inspections.
• Enforce HSE requirements and safe lifting, rigging, and manual handling practices.
• Manage tools, fixtures, and calibrated torque equipment.
• Lead 5S initiatives, coach assembly technicians, and report progress to Production Management.
