Client is looking for a Mechanical Inspector

Requirements / Qualification
- Diploma or Engineering Degree
- 10+ years of mechanical inspection experience
- Strong English communication
- API + ASNT Level II + CWI/CSWIP certifications
- Aramco CBT approval (usually required)
- Strong knowledge of ASME/API/AWS/NACE codes
- Experience with piping, vessels, welding, NDT, and QC documentation
Responsibilities
- Conduct in-process and final mechanical inspections for piping systems, pressure vessels, storage tanks, rotating equipment, and structural components to ensure compliance with project and client requirements.
- Monitor fabrication, installation, welding, and testing activities to verify adherence to approved procedures, ITPs, quality plans,
- Perform material receiving inspections, dimensional checks, fit-up inspections, welding inspections, and mechanical completion inspections throughout all project phases.
- Witness and verify NDT activities including RT, UT, MT, and PT, ensuring tests are performed in accordance with approved procedures and acceptance criteria.
- Review and validate quality records, material test certificates (MTCs), welding documentation, inspection reports, test packages, and turnover dossiers.
- Raise, track, and close Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), observations, and corrective actions while supporting continuous quality improvement initiatives.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, third-party inspectors, and construction teams during inspections, audits, and quality surveillance activities.
- Ensure compliance with Saudi Aramco standards, project specifications, and international codes such as ASME, API, AWS, and NACE.
- Participate in quality audits, vendor inspections, and site quality assessments to ensure effective implementation of the Quality Management System (QMS).
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inspection reports and provide technical recommendations for quality-related issues.
